Research Emphases of the RSTC |
|
The three focus areas, agriculture, forestry and wildlife, and transportation, represent areas of research for which MSU has had excellent strengths for many years as a land-grant university, with strong industrial relationships and inherent respect from state, regional and national business entities. The cross-cutting areas, computational modeling and workforce development, also represent established strengths for MSU. Strong programs in computational modeling, visualization and decision systems have already gained nationwide recognition. Additionally, several MSU units are contributing to workforce development issues, including classroom education, outreach and extension, and interaction with local and state governments. |
